There are a few things you need to know in case you have a failure to fire or the glove wears out after ten or fifteen years of hard shooting. It does look long but it is a good read with tips included to lengthen the life of your Free Flight.
MECHANISMS: In thirty five years of Winn Archery there has "never" been a release returned for wearing out, not one. The shears are cut on an angle and file hardened so as it wears a little in time the sheers keep seating themselves. So it easy for Winn Archery to guarantee them for life. No questions asked or stipulations. Send it back to the address below and it will be fixed or replaced. Fixed is the first priority because shooters usually want the same trigger for obvious reasons. If it a twenty year old mechanism, and pin diameters are a problem it will be replaced. There are a lot of copies on the market so be sure it is a Free Flight before you send one in.
The Spring: It is a springs nature to give in when it reaches its maximum rated compression number, even the best stainless steel springs money can buy. But say you do put thousands of trigger pulls on it over ten years of hard shooting, I consider you a dedicated Free Flight shooter and will be glad to take care of that also. Free of charge with no return charge for shipping, no receipt, information about where you bought it or wasted time on the phone requesting an RA number.
There always has to be a "but" statement but I will keep it simple. If you send in a mechanism that has been worked on, left in your tree stand for a very rusted five years, has been obviously damaged, or you are too lazy to oil and clean it once in a while and it is so full of crude it is stuck. I will be insulted and simply send it back and you can buy a new one. A couple tips that will save you the above mentioned trouble, know where your Free Flight is when you close your truck door or slam your tail gate shut, and never leave it where your dog can reach it.
Gloves: If we made them indestructible they would not be comfortable at all. So we have a happy medium of toughness and flexibility with good leather and laminated Cordura. Because of that some shooters want to keep their glove until it literally rots off their hand, (see photo) this always in the middle of rollover at full draw. And on that point, we make the glove warranty our discretion. If you send in a glove that is old, stretched, faded, the reinforcement is broke or rusted, (see photo) and it stinks from human and deer piss, we will not even send it back for your own safety. We have seen enough gloves to confidently say, if your Velcro is worn out or the reinforcement strap is broke from metal fatigue, the glove is not safe to use. If you look at it and say I did not get enough out of it, chances are you didn't so I want you to send it in so I can take care of the problem.
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product and get a full refund or exchange the product, subject to our warranty terms.
You can return a product for up to 30 days from the date you purchased it.
Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging. Please keep the receipt.

"I recently purchased the "loop hook" relaxed finger Free Flight release from Winn Archery. The release exceeded my expectations and removed the occasionally "panic" shot. My groups have improved accordingly. One drawback: the loading process takes considerable effort to become second nature but, in the end, well worth the effort. Follow the instructions and practice.
The simple adjustment I made to attach to the D-loop was to turn the hook sideways to catch...not straight on. I can cock the release by simply pressing the head against something, my leg, string, etc. then engaging the trigger. These two techniques made a big difference - a simple glance down while attaching now works for me.
The more important part of this transaction however, is the company owner, Geary Garvison. His concern is for a satisfied customer. He would rather take back the product than have you be dissatisfied. Geary has taken service to a level that all on-line sellers should strive to reach. He is prompt to reply, great with advice, honest about his products, and trusting of his customers. You, flat-out, will not find a better person to deal with.
A new champion for Geary & Winn Archery products,
Lauren Chapple"
